The module works by an advanced heat exchange technology. The mask contains a lightweight thermal conversion module,QXTEC®, that captures the body’s heat and water which is typically lost in the normal course of breathing, especially in cold air. The module captures the heat and moisture in your breath as you exhale. As you inhale fresh air the module warms the air and adds back the moisture. There are no batteries or electronics.
